Bought a Toyota Soaer 2.5TT foir use as a dedicated sprint/track day/hill climb car

its a 1992 car in pearl white with a pooh brown interior

done 70k miles with full history......

aim is to fit coilovers/exhaust/race seats and remove entire interior

will run engine as is until it goes pop then start to play

bits removed todate weigh 70kgs with seats/carpets to come

feels quite a bit quicker already........wilkl be fitting 3g brakes and keeping side mount intercooler as I have some cunning plans for it...........

As it arrived

You going to be running the 888 tires on it Dave?

I was just looking at the pic's again and it does look in pretty good condition that, all the ones i went to look at were ready for the breakers yard?

Can see that being good fun though mate, just be careful in the wet

My skyline had the Kakimoto exhaust on when i test drove it and it did sound great, shame the git took it off to put it on his other skyline!

Have you had chance to sort the seat rails out yet Dave?

few photos from Woodbridge…….

Quite a fast track and the car did very well.

Struggled a lot with traction in most of the corners and a LSD is now my main priority I reckon I’d have gained 2/3 seconds a lap if I had one fitted.

Coilovers were on hardest setting and I need to raise the front by 15/20mm as it’s a tad too low as the third picture shows !
